Lemosho

The Lemosho Route which starts on the western side of the mountain is probably the most Beautiful and remote of all routes. The route, still relativly unknown, is therefore not as frequently booked as the other routes. It is possible to book the route for 7 days or, even longer, for better acclimatisation. From the third day onwards the way is identical to the Machame route. The first two days however entail following a narrow forested track and lead to the Shira Plateau, further to Barranco Camp passing the Lava Tower. On the next day you will be confronted with the Great Barranco Wall, also known as "Breakfast-Wall".
