Rongai Route

The Rongai Route is scenically a very fascinating camping route which offers the Tourist the possibility to encounter animals (elephant, buffalo, baboons…) along the way. It's often referred to as the 'Kenyan Route' due it's starting Point laying to the north along the Kenyan border.
The night ascent to the Peak runs parallel to the Marangu Route via Gillman's Point.

The arduous drive from Moshi to the starting Point takes four to five hours.
